Fall leaves and fun

Curtis is having so much fun in the leaves. It is hard to rake them up.

Ok! Maybe the fun is over, but you never know when
Curtis will strike.

Kyrsten is only doing this to make me happy. She is to old to be playing in the leaves with her brother and mother.

Curtis can't wait to be buried in the leaves. (He can't hardly hold still to let me cover him in the leaves.

All done. Now what?

Kyrsten will only allow us to do this if her hair is completely covered. She is such a girly girl worrying about how she looks.
Fall is upon us we hope you all enjoy the season and give thanks for all you have. Even if it is alot of work to clean up, the joy of playing with the kids will have lasting memories.

Happy Birthday Kyrsten

Ok! So I am such a bad mom. I did not get a picture of Kyrsten on her birthday. My Darling daughter is now old enough to go to mutual. She is so excited. With all of the Dance performances that we have had and other friends having parties she did not get one of her own, but we managed to go see HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 for her birthday. She thought it was great.

All of you who have small kids enjoy them while they are young before you know it they are grown and wanting to do things with out you.

Happy 12th birthday Kyrsten. Oct. 24th . I love you.
Kyrsten and Whitney ready for Scarecrow Festival
Yes! Even us lucky M.C. Moms got to join in in the fun. We got to dance to thriller

WOW! a new dance season has begun.

Wow! I can't believe that a new dance season has come. Monday is clogging (no picture). Tuesday is Cheer (above) and Tumbling
Curtis is stretching out his wrists so that they will not ge hurt when he does his somersaults.
Kyrsten and her friend Kylee just want to be clowns before they do their stunts
Thursday is Jazz and Technique. The girls are working hard to stretch out.
They are dancing to the Song We Will Rock You that gets sung at basketball games.
Wednesday is ballet for Kyrsten. She is going to have to get use to going on her toes again
Thursday Curtis has special needs Mutual as well. Above he is closing his eyes for the surprise
Yea!! It is the Jazz Bear. Curtis loved having his picture taken and just giving him a great big hug.
The surprise he got at the end was almost as fun as seeing and hugging the Jazz Bear.

Labor day fun.

Can you spot the Lake down there?
The first snow of the season! and we found it.
We had Uncle Chris take our picture by the muddy ranger.
Kyrsten driving the four wheeler! She didn't mind getting muddy, she thought it was fun to drive the 4 wheeler through the mud puddles. Curtis wanted to go with Kyrsten, but had no extra clothes to change into. (maybe next time)
Curtis loved seeing the snow, but by the time we got to this picture his hands were too cold to touch the snow. Thank you Uncle Chris and Aunt Marie for letting us come go for a ride in the nippy and sometimes Hail of the fall season. We had a great time!

Back to school.

Curtis and Kyrsten are both excited to go back to school!!
Curtis' bus came right on time. No hugs for mom! he wants to go.
Kyrsten's bus was a few minutes late. A week of school and her bus schedule and pick-up time have changed to 10 minutes earlier and a new location. No time to mess around in the morning now. It's rush from home, to her bus stop, to work.
